Job Summary
The Channel Partner Team Lead is responsible for sourcing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with existing and prospective Channel partners. S/he is responsible for achieving the VDT sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives in addition to playing a significant role in strategic planning and business growth.
Job Details
· Act as key point of contact between VDT and channel partners
· Drive channel performance as evidenced by;
· Partners performance against business projections
· Present year’s profit vs. previous year’s profit
· Research potential accounts in targeted markets; pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
· Work with team members to develop product/service promotions, advertorials and publicity; advising management on impact, cost and implementation eg. Partner awards night, feedback forum etc.
- Consult with stakeholders to review customer feedback and integrate same in service quality improvement measures.
- Analyze findings and make suggestions for strategic and operational improvements.
· Develop extensive client / partner base to meet and exceed assigned targets
Requirements
- First degree in related fields with a flair for Sales/Marketing.
- A post-graduate degree in business management/administration will be an advantage
- Previous experience supervising a sales team is also required
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience selling ICT/Telco products.
- Proficient in the use of CRM tools, spreadsheet and digital / social media
